Jim Mottola, Partner and Managing Director of Risk Mitigation Services for Creative Solutions Investigative Services, will discuss the importance of Security Awareness for businesses of all sizes to protect themselves from internal and external threats. This includes an integrated approach of physical, technical and information security elements. In addition, he will address the impacts of processes, rules and procedures to institute the effective implementation of corporate governance and risk transference.
As a twenty five year veteran of the United States Secret Service, Jim recently served as the Special Agent in Charge of the United States Secret Service of the Newark Field Office, where he was responsible for leading the investigative and protective mission of the agency within the state of New Jersey. In this capacity he actively engaged the private sector and academia to protect our nation’s financial critical infrastructure by leading the agencies Electronic Crime Task Force in New Jersey. As such he fostered many relationships within the area of cyber security to enhance capabilities of partners across the information technology ecosystem. He frequently serves as a panelist on cyber security and identity theft forums and has led discussions on businesses resilience and related matters.
In November of 2014, Jim began as Partner and Managing Director of Risk Mitigation Services for Creative Solutions Investigative Services, where he now serves clients by providing investigative resources and asset protection solutions. In his practice he has provided services to clients seeking to protect what is most precious to them individually and as part of an organization.
